But don't they send a new code for every game?

I've taken a screenshot of mine and will do as previously said, print and laminate it.

I might even stick it to my old season ticket card

It all worked for me as far as clicking Google Pay - this option didn't appear, so I am stuck.

This happened to me because I didn't have the Google Pay app on my phone.

Go into the Play Store. Type in the search bar 'Google Pay' then install the app. You don't have to put in any payment details.

Once the app is installed you should be able to open your season ticket.

Sadly I've discovered it won't work.
You can only gain entry with your phone, because the reader at the turnstile reacts with the chip in your phone.

If you are really struggling just go to entrance 2 half way down Holmesdale road. Far right gate left turnstile just spins. Has done for years. No need to a scan card or even a ticket.

But they're issuing e-tickets to certain people aren't they ?

I'm away for the Spurs game but will give it a try for the Brighton game. If it doesn't work I'll make everyone behind me wait while I try to find my phone, then scroll through it to find the ticket.

Can you elaborate on this please? How have you established this.
I screenshot the three QR codes for my mother and son at the Brentfird game and then we all struggled to get it. Concerned now.

I believe you need to turn on you NFC on your phone while scanning the ticket?

So now they're giving anyone who hasn't successfully downloaded the ticket/added to Wallet an e-ticket. Does this mean I need to print it? Or does it come with an option to load to Wallet?

What was wrong with the fricking card.

Yeah it looks like that's the case, the last question in the clubs FAQ [Link] says you need NFC enabled for it to work, but I think that might be if you're using the app/Google Pay approach to get in?

Just in case anyone doesn't know how Google Pay works, but I believe that when you add a card and hold it to a contactless reader in a shop to pay, it uses the NFC (Near Field Communication) to get the details from your phone and process the transaction. Looks like the app does the same via Google Pay for the season ticket, with the season ticket being the method of payment in essence.

Just reading up on the QR code approach...

Is it me or is this a crazy situation.

My son has to work tomorrow and might not make it, but how can you transfer your ticket to someone else at short notice?

The FAQ says email the box office, so do you have to wait for the club to respond before you go? I emailed the box office this question hours ago and quelle suprise, they haven't answered yet.

Funny you should say that! Me and my old man been commenting on that turnstile and wondering if they would have fixed it, they hadn’t for the Brentford game I went to use it and it still spins around however, the gate steward had a right fit!

I do have a season ticket not trying my luck before anyone thinks it!
