Same Defence, Gallagher and Wilf to start but:
Benteke or Edouard
Kouyate or Lula
Ayew or Olise
MacArthur or Hughes
???? Thoughts???

Given the performance, i don't think we should change much. Only change i can see is Edouard possibly starting. Olise played for the U23s so he'll likely be on the bench again, McArthur is playing like a demon so Hughes has work to do, and although Luka could be getting back to his best, we don't want to give him Liverpool to try and prove that. Kouyate the safer option given game time.

Benteke starts - we'll need an out ball and he's a genuine target man and useful defending set pieces.

What we do with TAA will be interesting. Play Wilf against him, and try to pin him back, or play Ayew against him to do a defensive job on him.

Clyne in for Ward (defending well, but his passing is diabolical) and Luka in for Kouyate (same problem as Ward). Would like Olise to start, but Ayew worked his socks off vs Spurs.
In the long run, Benteke will play second fiddle to Edouard. At the moment, not sure but would certainly give our 2-goal hero at least 45 minutes.

like To see what Eduard offers us up front as an out ball, but same as previous poster, not sure Liverpool away is the game for this. Benteke is the natural hold up man suited to this game (I don't whether OE can play this role - or even if it's needed!)

It's one thing coming off the bench vs 10 men, another getting your first start away at Liverpool. Though from what I've seen of him, he has the confidence to do it.

Because of this, can't see him changing much, Luka over Kouyate maybe.

That’s the way, I see it. Luca in for Kouyate, Benteke to start, he can hold the ball up and is an out option, he saw what OE can do, so he has competition, so hopefully raise his game.

50% of the time he doesn't hold it up and loses possession, FFS he is a liability.

I would like to see Butland in goal
Benteke to start
Olise instead of Ayew
MacArthur with Hughes coming on as a late sub

A guy who scores 2 goals in 8 minutes on his debut has earned a start. To get any kind of result up there, we need goals. He has shown he can score them.

Benteke has other attributes but Wilf, Gallagher, Edouard have a goal or two between them. Why shave off a third of our threat so that we sometimes hold the ball up a bit better?

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.
