When I started this thread I thought there might be some interesting views expressed about how inept the French seem to be in their attempts to stop little boatloads of immigrants finding their way across the Channel.

I can't really believe that they really believe this.

Perhaps it's easier for them to imagine that I am sitting amongst ranks of 'paid trolls' in a hollowed-out volcano dedicated to bringing down their empire. The global conspiracy theory fits nicely with their worldview.

When you say confiscate the at source do you mean at the factory where they are made? This is a radical idea. I presume you advocate the boats being destroyed as they come off the production line? If that came into force I and many others would be starting a boat manufacturing company.
