Adverts on HOL

Can anyone advise how to get rid of all these adverts that have started to appear on my screen whilst trying to read HOL. THANKS

Slightly off tangent but I still see loads of adverts from Football Index on here, who have gone ‘bust’ and fleeced the public of north of £100m. No idea how the advertising on here works or even whether the mods get any choice but does seem a little strange.

Nowt to do with the mods - I believe there is an arrangement with an advertising company who run the ads.

This is probably Peter Guntrip’s area. I stopped participating on the HOL partially as I couldn’t be bothered to find a way around the adverts that fully blocked my iPad screen.
