Not the most important thing in the world admittedly but there used to be an independent burger van by the outside area of the Holmesdale. It seems to have been gone since start of this season and we’ve been forced to eat the slop they prepare in the stadium.

I’m not sure what I’m dreading more, Brighton beating us to go top or having to have another one of those burgers!

Anyone know if the van is due back or if there’s an alternative somewhere around the stadium we might have missed? I’m a little confused why there aren’t multiple food trucks like every away stadium I visit, is it a Croydon Council special?

Most fans arrive by train I think.
Plenty of options in the walk from the three main stations is probably the answer

Personally I'd never eat from a burger van

When I used to go to matches, I'd get something in the pub before the game

I think you might be flogging a dead horse with this thread.

Forget the burger van but how bad are our bars in the LH . The Tap Bar run out of everything 15 mins before kick off and the pumps seem so slow a baby could piss more. The staff have obliviously had none or vey little training in pulling pints. And at half time the beer being pulled was more froth than beer and another lengthy wait to be served .
And next door there is a dodgy looking bar selling warm cans of Carlsberg , while you have to wait for them to pour the cans into plastic cups .

Not Premier League bars.

The food at Palace must be the worst in the premier. It is absolute crap. It’s always cold and tasteless. Yuk disgusting. Totally overpriced too. I reckon the beer is definitely watered down too.
Why dont they give it up and allow us to bring takeaway in.
Just as well we’ve got the best fans.

when the holmesdale was all standing we had the Westlers hot dog & burger stand at the topof the hill.
these were out of tin & kept warm in hot water in a large drum.
delicious.
(stop moaning bitches )

Say what you like about the Yanks, but they know how to this sort of thing properly. Kind of amazed that our American owners aren't more hands on about this at Selhurst. (The Ice Cream might be right up Funtys alley figuratively speaking)

There was a bloke selling burgers and hot dogs under a gazebo from his front garden in Tennison Road yesterday.

Didn't see anyone stop and try one, but good luck to him.

One sat afternoon on the way to the ground, coming out of Selhurst station, through the alley past the railway club, just past the overhead bridge, on one of the roads there was a guy on his front driveway - he had glad all over blasting out from his boom box (on repeat) & he had set up a makeshift burger / hot dog grill- I only saw him once so my guess is that either he didnt do any business or someone came along asking to see whatever vendor licence is required for that sort of outlet.

I’ll appreciate the joke sir, even if others missed it.

In dog beers I’ve only had one.

So do the county cricket grounds as well as most horse racing tracks
