Think you mean Boris, he"s increasing income tax and national insurance, and done it already, what sir Keir might do in the event of him ever getting in, which is slim, is just Hans Christian Anderson! Concentrate on the Boris tax rises that are happening- not with whataboutery.

How does it affect you che?

So under Sir Keir, those genuinely hard working successful people with ' broad shoulders' will pay more to finance his out of control spending plans.
Increases in income tax and capital gains tax coming your way soon under his leadership as he courts popularity with the have nots and the damn lazy and lay abouts in our society.

You seem to have missed the largest tax hike since WW2.

Labour will attack your pension as well.

If you're fine with that then cool.

Don't you have the treble lock?

I'm no expert with pension stuff but I think with Labour that's a certainty to go.

At the moment yes, on the State Retirement pension - and thank God for that.
It was my private pension arrangements that GB wrecked, leaving me far more dependent on the State one than I wanted/expected to be.

Yep Gordon Brown was a terrible PM.

Treated the whole episode like it was a divine right yet performed like he couldn't manage his own underpants.....quite representative of his party.

No.

The triple lock has been suspended by the tories, starting 2022/23.

Probably means it is doomed.

Let's put it like this.

Older people tend to vote Tory for various reasons. The Tories are likely to treat them better than Labour for that reason alone.

Labour are all about morality campaigns and 'social justice'. They will look to change the state percentage balance to younger voters and minorities.

It's hardly rocket science.

If you want a Labour government then fair enough, but it's a bit Turkey voting for Christmas in personal terms.

Though I do recognise that the economy is fecked two ways to Sundays anyway.....so it's hardly like this decade is going to be a holiday in the sun.

I apologise for my depressive tone.

I'm taking my 25% tax free next year before that's curtailed!
