They can start be renaming the Police Service back to Police Force. I like my coppers big and honest but they need to be supported by the politicians. A friend was on the front line of the last lot of major riots (Duggan). The senior officer on the first night was scared to make a decision because he thought he would be slaughtered by the politicians and the woke so the rioters in Bromley were free to loot and attack the police all night. The next day the riots were universally condemned by all major parties that night the rioters gathered in Bromley and a new senior office ordered the charge it was all over in 30 mins. The police should not be second guessing what the politicians and the media will say they should do what is required to maintain order and expect support from the establishment and the public. Stop all this nonsense of skate boarding coppers with rainbow laces and asking protestors if they need anything. They are paid for by the majority who just want to get on with their lives if the protestors can't find a way to protest without breaking the law they should feel the consequences. Could well be the case, honestly its been so long now & I havent really paid much attention to the story in years, I just happen to read something about the SRR the other day being linked to De Menezes and allegedly the SRR were present on the train too but we will never know. *edit just had a re-read of the shooting, an address was found on the remains of a suicide bomber from the previous day, Menezes happened to live at that address. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (03 Oct 2021 3.00pm) When it comes to being 'their girl' in terms of social liberalism's never ending fetish for minority elevation, it would seem pointless denying it.....Personally I view these things only in terms of meritocracy but you just know with the social liberal mindset it weighed and weighs in her favour. However, while she's protected to an extent and the evidence is that she has been for a long time now.....I think her ineffectiveness embarrasses even those on the left. However, rather than that being directly her fault (and I've criticised her many times). In my view it's more the fault of left wing attitudes and policies on crime and what causes it.
