Government 'lurching from crisis to crisis' and 'not in control', claims Lord Heseltine.

Britain will experience a series of crises "fast and thick" as the country faces a "very nasty situation" in the coming months, former deputy prime minister Lord Heseltine has warned.

Re-cycling an IMF windfall as 'aid for the poor', not paying bills, they must be searching everywhere.

Oddly enough you often find freak binge spending when the country is actually skint, like over 120 billions and rising on a railway line.

Heseltine is hardly a non partisan observer.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Bitter old man, inherited the title from Ted Heath.

Once upon a time he had an interesting view point but once he was rejected by the Tory party as their leader he became more and more ridiculous especially his utterings over Brexit.

Nothing wrong in supporting leave but he was one of many senior politicians that refused to accept his side lost. I stopped listening to him after that, perhaps he can find a telephone box for him and Major and Blair they could start their own party..

Heseltine did deliver he was a man of action.

The rejuvenation of Liverpool, Newcastle Hull and others were as a result of his intervention, setting up the Whitehall machine to liaise directly with mayors and their councils.

Tell us what you need, and if we can make it fit, let's see what we can do.

He is wrong about not being able to find the 6 billions for universal credit though, it can be found.

And when that's gone in 9 years with inflation then what?
You can't just keep throwing money at things by shelving projects which will advance the country.
Have you seen Europe's train network. Makes ours look like Stephensons rocket.
The policy you want to implement of giving giving giving takes money and pain for the givers. Do you admit many on welfare could help themselves and if so propose how that could be done. Cosy little existence for many on the back of my graft. Piss taking oxygen theives need stopping doing it. I've already said I know there are also many who can't work and need help. You can call me callous or far right but if you ran your own budget as you want hmg to you would be potless in 3 years.
