Maybe matters have moved beyond the ability to be resolved by conversation?

Conventional wisdom has it that compromise is for the best but given why a lot of these parents are quite rightly disgusted by what these school boards are imposing on their kids, with zero willingness to listen to their objections, then perhaps violence is inevitable? Maybe even for the best given that issues need deciding in a decisive way?

Violence does work on occasion. Hitler was stopped by violence. The invasion of the Falklands was resolved by violence. It serves a purpose. Even the poll tax riots worked. The Czars in Russia did not step down by way of compromise.

The Left seek to impose wide ranging changes on how we even define what men and women are. And I do mean impose. Look to make it a crime to even use somebody's name that they were christened with.

I am at the point now where I simply cannot see how this struggle with the Progressive Left can be resolved without violence being involved. They clearly have no respect for the democratic process (look at Brexit and their desperate attempts to subvert what was perhaps the single greatest expression of the democratic principle in my life-time) and they actively cheered on huge amounts of violence by the likes of BLM and Antifa.

They literally want to DESTROY traditional concepts like family. A line in the sand has been crossed by them first. This needs settling because it is impossible to live collectively on the terms the Progressive Left seek to impose on us all. People need to wake up to that.

Quite the call to arms Matov. Typed out from the safety of your nuclear bunker?

Covid is an airborne virus, therefore wearing masks helps to keep people safe. Anti maskers are the new flat earthers.

The whole point of school board meetings is its a debate, so yes, both sides are being heard, the difference is only one side (generally) is resorting to personal attacks, stalking, fake reports of criminal activity, threats, violence etc.

On occasion, violence does "work", yes, correct, wars against nazis would be one of them. However a school board meeting is not really the same as facing the Blitzkrieg is it.

The biggest threat to democratic process currently in England or America is Trump and his cronies trying to claim the last election was somehow unfair, and kook right wing GOP local government folks being installed who may actually act on his lies next time.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Is this related to Biden's approach to labelling people who want freedom of choice for their kids as right wing terrorists?
If I were labelled as such, for the same reasons, violence would be a possible outcome.

Other things in general I would question, the categorisation of such attacks is not going to be believed by many people. The only people who will believe it, are those that want to believe it - such as the OP. Others may think that all the statistics are designed politically and constructed in such a way as to present a certain picture.

Let's put the truth out there about the USA. The crime, much of it violent and often resulting in death, is perpetrated by minorities at a far higher ratio than should be expected. The factors, I won't bring up. There are literally thousands of people killed by minorities in the USA. Now, if you were to say to me, the victims too are largely also minorities, that minorities are massively over represented as perpetrators and as victims of crime, you'd have an interesting point.

Posting about a few deaths caused by groups such as Atomwaffen and going on to label parents who are increasingly intimidated by the current political climate, and trying to group them into one, just isn't going to cut it. Many here are as disgusted with Biden as much as they were with Trump. Loads think he's worse. Looks like some very average and normal people in the US are now realising the same. Anyway, the FBI can turn up at their door and shut them up, whilst letting the people traffickers next door off. Sure, that's going to poll well.

The other thing is, we've all witnessed first hand, Antifa and BLM violence, and also saw it not condemned. You can't have one rule for one, one for another. Oops, I forgot it's the States, you always do have laws like that.

Please point out where Joe Biden said that parents who dont want their kids to wear masks are terrorists?

As I mentioned, the body who performed the research are not political, and their CEO is a republican.

In the post truth era, ushered in by Trump, with its "alternative facts" I guess if you are inclined a certain way, you can claim that the sky is not blue, and that the sea is red. Problem with that it is false.

The study was specifically designed to look at ALL domestic terrorism, so ANTIFA and BLM rioting is included. Despite including those stats, the number of right wing, neo nazi, white supremacist terrorist attacks is far, far higher than by left wing perpetrators.

That is a fact I am afraid.

It is an inconvenient truth for someone like you, but it is true nonetheless. Why that is, is the point of this thread.

I didnt say that parents at school meetings are terrorists, I posed the question around the possible links between conservatives causing more unrest with violence and threats at school board meetings than liberals, and the much higher number of right wing inspired terrorist incidents, with a much higher cost of life, than by the left wing.

Seems to me these are related, as the core beliefs and values which made some MAGA hat wearing right wing moron on Jan 6th think he could waltz into the capitol building and literally try to hang Mike Pence, seems to also make conservative parents think they can harass and harangue parents with opposing views.

I've literally witnessed the far left breaking up meetings, sometimes violently and having free speech events cancelled. Spare me the tears me dears.

Are you part of the forty percent of Democrats who want to secede and have two Americas so to speak.....though I'd imagine you're still British?

Errr....didn't Biden just run away from....well what you must consider Nazis in Afghanistan.....in your head they must be, ultra, ultra, ultra Nazis with a double cream cherry on top.

Just for reference, we didn't go to war with the Nazis because they were Nazis, we went to war because they invaded Poland, having broken several agreements.

You probably know that so I'm kind of curious do you think that going to war over ideological differences is a good thing?

Chicago must have a really bad right wing problem. Surprising in a city that hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1927.

Its not a right wing problem in Chicago its a demographic problem but that the same for a lot of poor US Cities.

I can't believe people are still playing the Left vs Right, Biden/Trump game as if there going to be a winner. Most people would class terrorism as guns bombs, murder etc, but now that governments are using it to classify concerned parents as political opponents that are to be silenced at all costs must point to the fact that we live under tyranny.
The only violence I have seen is a Dad getting roughed up by police for complaining his daughter was raped by a boy pretending to be a girl. Again this is tyranny and voting for one mainstream party over another is going to save you from it.

Yes. That was my point.

Hardly a call to arms. Just the reality that there is no compromise position now between people who want to maintain traditional values and those determined to impose progressive degeneracy on us all.

Whether it takes 10 years or 30, the reality is that a separation is now inevitable and that will probably involve violence to make happen. Could pan out in all kinds of ways but its coming down the tracks.

My desperate hope is that it does happen with no blood shed but I cannot see the Left just allowing the Right to break away from them given their need for our tax base to fund their fantasy's.

I agree with this. People wanting traditional values and to live without degeneracy being forced down their throat are now classed as terrorists.

People should be advocating for peaceful separation now before WW3 starts.
