The game changed, when they brought Lacazette on, they noticeably lifted. The Tomkins sub didn’t work out, but all his previous subs have, nobody is perfect.
If Tierneys shot had gone in rather than rebound off the crossbar, most would be moaning, it’s a fine margins game and luck does play a part.
Both goals and Tierneys nearly goal came from where Ward should of been.

Correct.

People moaning about the red card when it clearly wasn't, it was just an accident, he was following the ball as it dropped and if anyone looks carefully it's clear to see...he wasn't waiting for the opportunity to kick Saka like that and in that way, yellow at best, just another incident that's looks a million times worse and gets worse and worse the more you watch it purely when just considering the injury that is happening at the time.

I agree completely.
JM has eyes only for the ball and being totally committed, goes to strike the ball. An unfortunate, painfull knock for the Arsenal lad.
I was glad to see Macca's foot was okay.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

I'm also surprised that everyone was calling for a red.

From the front on angle, Macca is clearly looking at the ball as it drops.

I'm sure it bloody hurt, and unfortunate. But surely he is allowed to take a swing at it.

Seems the Ar.se really didnt like the refs decision on the pitch

Personally I think McArthur knew what he was doing, but it is impossible to know for sure. I think a red card would have been overboard as the ball was in play and it wasn't a studs up challenge; anyway, remember against Arsenal when Guendouzi rugby tackled Wilf? Karma b*tches

With regard to Arsenal complaining it won't change anything as the incident was seen by the ref and VAR deemed a yellow to be sufficient. Unless I'm mistaken no retrospective action can therefore be taken.

I thought they had already lodged a complaint that we tried too hard and didn't let them win.

I've just watched for the first time the "Access All Over" highlights from the match. Does anyone know what Benteke was shouting and gesturing about after his goal?

Haha! Talk about rose tinted specs! I couldn’t see it live at the other end of the pitch but judging by the reaction of the players and Arsehole fans, we assumed an aggressive elbow or something horrific (which it was).

He knew full well where Saka was and the whistle had gone about a second before due to a handball. That would have been red 7 times out of 10, which in my opinion means it’s not quite clear and obvious to overturn. Jim Mac was a lucky boy and no one would have any complaints if he was sent off.

Vieira laughed about it in his post match interview, as did we down the pub afterwards when we saw the replay.
