This exactly..!!

How many times have we pointed and laughed at other teams who have had far more possession but failed to make it count? I'm loving the more positive, possession-based way the team is playing, but if you don't actually have a shot at goal it'll all be for nothing. And if/when gilt-edged chances do come along, you simply cannot afford to waste them.

Yet another draw that feels like a defeat.

Or maybe get rid of Guehi, Benny would have scored two, winning us the game, and a goal of the month to boot!

Guehi pulled down the Newcastle defender who was clearly in the perfect position to challenge Benny for the ball. No one can say whether Christian would’ve got his head to the ball cleanly, if the Newcastle player hadn’t been taken out.

Thanks, mate. I was just thinking of a suitable riposte to 'beak', but I think you've done the job pretty well. Perhaps someone might send him details of a local laundry that could clean the pants that he's obviously wetted.

At least i'm old enough to wear pants.

He would have, it was a beast of a header, Benny towering above anyone else, but he will just have to take one goal today, saving the point, and one at the Arsenal, saving another point, well done Benny boy, keep it up!

before i get kicked, to many people expect on this site, look at other stats for for top teams, unless you have played a level to which you can understand the game, dont condemn until you realize that theres 1000s of strikers are this close to playing prem, or any high standard of football that have failed.

So dont sit in a armchair on a keyboard saying you know the answer

ref checking VAR. if we had a vociferous captain
Maybe we would have complained about the Gould in the build up to their goal but we didn’t. We need to score more and be in the referee’s face a lot more!

That's right. It was a blatant push on Ward that led to their corner. The Palace players protested but today's crap referee wasn't going to give them anything.

True - and we had a number of big chances and near-misses. Tekkers hits the post early on and misses with a stupendous volley in the second half that would have one it for us. Edouard hit the bar and also should have scored when he was through on their keeper. On another day we would have nailed this. But it's hard to take after the Brighton and Arsenal matches.

It was Benteke who missed all four of those chances today. Eduard played well but didn’t have any shots at all.
