Although, funny enough, I did do a long post-(another brilliant post I might add), thinking I was replying to a Newcastle fan, only for the mackem penny to drop right at the end, the question is, how did you guess? Indeed blue, I loved the HF banner, and hope that every game, someone will run on the pitch with the journos facemask on and a tea towel on his head, sitting in the centre circle for 5 mins until getting carted off! I do find it funny though, everyone saying that we wouldn"t accept the same takeover and would be protesting, maybe some wouldn"t renew, but the majority would have red n blue teatowels on and looking forward to winning something! Lets not forget we sell arms to this regime, who kill innocents in Yemen with them, and 17 of the WTC killers were Saudi! Don"t blame the toon fans for buying in to it, blame the Fa/Epl, and the government, for trading with them and not putting them on a blacklist!

I think all costs is a little dramatic. Obviously there is a limit.

It has surprised many that the PL has sanctioned owners that are so closely linked to a such a regime. Unfortunately, it really shouldn't come as a shock since the West do deals with the Saudis all the time. Business is clearly more important than morals.

Given that, it seems rather pointless for the average football fan to give up his dreams of glory or desert his club in a futile act of virtuousness that will change nothing. Only the Saudi people and pressure from other nations will make any difference. The good news is that Middle Eastern oil will become far less important in the coming decades, and I suspect there will be a reckoning some day.
