Not sure how much truth there is in this article, but supposedly all PL clubs have agreed to not do any business with Newcastle to help get them relegated. Fantastic story is true.

The following has been written by a Newcastle fan on a forum out here in Thailand. I have no idea of the accuracy of the statement.

Thing is, a lot of clubs have tainted money - ofcourse, not all at the standard of PIF allegedly, but Chelsea, city are an example.

It boils down to billionaires don't always get their money the 'easy' way and we all know money can corrupt, from bets, to owners, to agents.

There's too much money in footy, ultimately and too much corruption, but some is over looked when others aren't. I don't really have the answer.... but this deal isn't a good look for the league and the investigation into a banner and those crying racist stereotypes are missing the point - invest that energy into the actual atrocities happening over there.

Realistically, if they're trying to drive home a deal, they're going to push back on barriers that get in the way. How many hurdles did Parish have to break down?

Also, the fancy dress request was reasonable, if a little cringey. They nipped it in the bud during the honeymoon period.

I agree that they've a long road ahead. I love all the bulls*** transfer rumours, when they've not even established a recruitment hierarchy or an intended style of play. If even a percentage of the rumours are true, then it's just a random and hopeful approach, with the assumption that an expensive player automatically makes the team better. Manchester United (and Ian Holloway) are proof that just doesn't work.

In the space of 2 weeks this lot have threatened to sue all directors who voted against the sponsorship deals and wanted police to take action on a banner.

Thank Gawd for Mr Parish and his buddies, that's all I want to add. It's a travesty that the FA/EPL sanctioned the PIF deal.
