But unfortunately false. He's only just put a pair of boots back on.

He has featured in the training videos a few times and the progress is there for all to see butI really can't see any need to rush him back. Personally I'd expect one or two cameos with the u23s before easing him back into the first team, maybe initially as sub.

Yep that's exactly how I see it. Reckon in about a month we could see him back in the fold if all goes well getting match ready. It'll be a good day when we can name him in a match day squad.

Vieira said quite clearly in the pre-Arse press conference that there is no need to rush Eze back so there is no way he'll be playing on Saturday.

Bruce Millington said on Talksport yesterday that Eze is well ahead of schedule and he heard he could be available for selection in two weeks time.
No need to rush him back but happy days if he is fit already.

The question is, once Eze is 100% fit, what does our starting lineup look like? We've gone from desperation in midfield, to a glut of good midfielders.

Will Eze be able to break into the starting 11?

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

I think it’ll be horses for courses. Some games we’ll need the steel/work rate of day Macca Gallagher and Luka/Kouyate. Others where we have more possession we could sacrifice one of the above for Eze. Lovely options to have.

I think eventually Eze will get the Gallagher role when he, unfortunately, leaves at the end of the season. he will be 50m+ by then, in the mean time injuries and resting players will give him plenty of game time, he is our best player in my opinion

Very different players. We have no one as good as Gallagher in that role. He will be missed. Let's just enjoy him while we have him.

Do we know for sure there is no buy clause in the Gallagher loan deal. I sure hope there is as he is an absolute diamond.

There’s also Mystery Man Hughes who might come in.

The cost of NOT buying Gallagher may be a lot higher than £50 million,he is a very necessary cog.He does everything well and has a great appetite for football.
