Well done the lads don't understand why we were not first on MOTD last night Manure beating Spurs is hardly headline news.

I really like Olise he is direct and puts the ball into dangerous areas such a change from the usual get to their penalty area and then go backwards. Wilf seems to be a lot happier as well.

TBF Brighton's comeback at Anfeld merited a higher rating than Manure beating Spurs. But the media and particularly the BBC love all things Manure, as we know.

Rewatched the full game and I didn’t see a poor performance from any of our players.
Gallagher and Zaha took the headlines, but Mcarthur was my man of the match.
Unselfish, always tackling, blocking and covering his teammates as well as being tidy in possession.
We weren’t fortunate and contained City, limiting them to a few shots that didn’t really trouble us.

Becky and I agree with you on this. He was immense and should be made Captain in place of Luka.

Another good thing about our win was that both goals came from open play, not penalties or set pieces. Still buzzin'.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Should that read:

Fantastic performance from the boys yesterday, and I thought Jimmy and Conar should have jointly won MOTM.So many players have improved under PV especially Joel Ward and Tyrick Mitchell who have benefitted from having two Good centre backs beside them.Where have all the JW knockers gone who called him a Championship full back, I bet PV doesn’t.Jimmy MAC has also gone up another level as has Benteke who’s work rate has gone up considerably.Wilf has stopped sulking after being left out and realised he is not indispensable.Isn’t it great to look forward to the next game whoever we are playing, as we are a match for anyone now.COYP

PV also deserves credit for his choice of coaches - Wilson & Roberts have changed things significantly.

Before the game, days earlier, there were agonised moans about the choice of referee.

I thought Andre Marriner had a great game, keeping calm, ignoring the histrionics on both sides and very tolerant of our time wasting.

Showed he had no bias against Wilf where other refs might have taken a less tolerant attitude to Wilf's histrionics.

Even Lee Mason (never our favourite) correctly called the VAR decision which was tight.

It all came together: a great team performance and deserved luck (for a change)

Wishful thinking. The way CG is playing is being noticed everywhere now. He is easily good enough for Chelsea now. Can you imagine him drafted into their team. Doesn’t bear thinking about. I reckon he will just get better and better this season for us. Problem is, he is pretty much irreplaceable. Oh well enjoy him while we got him. He’ll be an England player very soon. The guy is dynamite.

Just a slight worry in signing him in January, is we have him on a season loan and if he was unfortunte to get a serious injury between January and the end of the season I assume he would go back to Chelsea and could we replace him with another loan?

I was just doing the math there and if brighton didnt equalize with the last kick of the game and the same with arse , and we beat Newcastle and we should have . We would now be in the champions league qualifying place . Just saying

Ifs and buts! Never know we might never have beat city if we had won at arsenal and Brighton! Seems Vieira learnt alot in those games with the late goals!

If we had lost yesterday as the world predicted, and was a possible outcome...we'd have been fourth from bottom right now.
You make your own luck!
