3. Geoeghe Hagi - Romania

I seem to recall Romania in '94 had loads of good players.

Bale is great for Wales, but he has Ramsay too. They are both really committed to international football and show real pride, ironically unlike Ryan Giggs was.

Luigi Riva ,Cagliari . The best striker of his generation . Played for the same club all his career (It was said under the orders of the Mafia )

Had the pleasure of seeing him in the flesh in the anglo Itie cup though he didnt show much of his skills , spending the match standing next to John Jackson

And we still need a striker

Matt Le Tissier. One of the best individually brilliant players of all time and that free kick with the flick up wow wow wow!

Truly magical player - would have him in my all time PL team on a matter of principle. Every great team should have a Le Tiss - bugger work rate!

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Tony Currie - Sheffield United
Frank Worthington - Leicester
Steve Bull - Wolves
Peter Ward - Brighton
Glenn Hoddle - Spurs
Bryan Robson - West Brom
Des Walker - Nottingham Forest
Trevor Francis - Birmingham
Gerry Francis - QPR
Liam Brady - Arsenal

In a couple of cases, the players listed ended up being more famous after transfers. Liam Brady played alongside a lot of good players at Arsenal but nevertheless, he completely dominated that team. I'm not sure I wouldn't say that, in his pomp, Brady was as good as any player I've ever seen.
