Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

You obviously either know every BBC employee personally or have access to their recruitment team, who you seem to think enquire into a person's political beliefs before offering them a contract. I have only ever known two BBC employees personally. One is now retired, but rose from being a junior clerk to being a producer, and another who left to form his own production company which makes programmes, both for the BBC and others. I rarely discussed politics with either, but neither is in any way left wing at all. I would describe both as centre right. What I think you, and the other BBC critics, are doing is allowing your own biases to overpower the facts. You are seeing what you want to see.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

There are those here, who most would regard as holding some pretty hard right views, who openly claim that anyone holding a political opinion that is even a tad more socially "liberal" than their own is a raving "lefty", and they are just conservatives. It's not my understanding of what true conservatism is.
