Some good news for a change

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

It's a start. Let's hope these idiots realise that there are consequences to their actions other than being offered a cup of tea and a sandwich by our useless police.

Probably Insulate Britain. I am in favour of insulating UK houses but not necessarily to the extent that they have been carrying it to.
They will never win as the Grenfell commission showed that people and companies can get away literally with murder/killing.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I don't know what type of careers these people have but they may find it has a negative impact on hem after all this.

No one should be against insulating homes the thing is most homes that can be insulated have been. Some properties it just isn't suitable.

More can always be done but gluing yourself to the M25 and stopping ambulances getting to hospital doesn't win the public over.

I hope they all get a padded cell! The government nicked £47 billion under our noses, so they and their friends and family can continue to live a life of luxury for the next hundreds of years- don"t forget 47 billion is 47 thousand million, and these people block roads for insulation! If they blocked roads, bridges, parliament etc, for an investigation in to where the PPE money has gone, I would be standing with them, but house insulation?

Wrong subject, wasn't it.

It's difficult to get excited about insulation.

If it was climate, they may well be vindicated by events.

I can see the need for direct action.

For example, you have sewage in the water system, the government does not act but permits it, the law acts but is ignored and the practice just continues.

Do you live in s**t or do something about it?

They are very short-sighted people who are actually traitors to their cause.

Making a case for greater insulation, in order to lower the amount of fuel we need to keep as warm, is perfectly sensible. Most of us agree, and so does the government.

Enraging public opinion by causing chaos sends completely the wrong messages and creates negative connotations for a worthy cause.

Stupid!

The law's the law, and they went beyond highlighting their cause when they chose to ignore it. I have a level of respect for those willing to serve time for their beliefs (where they are peaceful) but clearly the level of disruption causes to ordinary people did more to get peoples backs up than make people think about the environment.

Those jails might be quite chilly as we get into winter weather. Perhaps they could put their principles to good use ?
