Not if you buy it on finance as the interest rate on most new cars is heavily subsidized by the manufacturer making new cars cheaper to buy than nearly new

I had one and it was excellent but when I upgraded I went Korean as at the time the US government was blocking US software such as Google and Android you ran the risk of your phone becoming obsolete. I am not sure if that ever happened but it's a risk with the Chinese.

Yuk. One of my special treats is a full English a couple of times when on holiday. Last month we were in the Canaries and the baked beans in the full English were obviously el cheapo and were foul so when we went back again we ordered "full English but no beans please"

A lot of it is common sense and knowing someone with experience in the area helps. Do you need something to be durable? Sometimes buying cheap can actually work out more expensive if you have to replace the item...built in obsolescence matters. Why is something priced as it is?....materials or brand or supply levels. Usually the mid-range has the most competition and hence the best bang per buck.....but that's just a general rule and good research before buying reduces disappointment. Or just subscribe to 'Which'.

A few years ago a survey judged Aldi's own label Champagne and gin to be not only the cheapest but the best, in a big field of well known and highly respected brands. Some company that Aldi.

I had a full English round one of my mates houses a couple of years ago, and I jokingly said to him 'I trust these are Heinz beans' to which he said yes. After I'd finished he confessed that they were Aldi. I didn't know the difference. I now go into Aldi just to get their beans. As we speak, I've probably got about 40 tins on a shelf in my garage.

Always had Heinz until we switched to shopping in Aldi and tried their baked beans can't tell the difference and to be honest most things in Aldi are as good if not better than branded stuff and much cheaper.
