Given Trump said he knew him well for 15 years, and specifically mentioned his panchance for young girls, I can't stretch to give Trump the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Epstein. He knew and he was alright with it as far as I see it personally. Which is so messed up! He also appointed Alex Acosta as his Secretary of Labour, which is a nice pat on the back as a job for a man who managed to get Epstein's illegal non-prosecution agreement signed without the victims agreement in the 2006 case. That blocked any more of this stuff being investigated back then!! As people have alluded to in the thread already, with Epstein's suicide and the one that they are no doubt hanging over Ghislaine's head unless she plays ball... when Trump said he 'wished her well' I believe that was an old mob threat...

The Israel stuff is just me chewing the cud. As for Trump, I'll withhold judgement until there is some actual beef to go with someone just calling out names here. However, going just on that statement, I think Trump deserves the benefit of the doubt. I know lots of people well, but that doesn't mean I know what they are doing in the bedroom and always with whom. Wasn't it reported that Epstein being dodgey around females was why they 'unfriended'? As for liking young girls....that's not saying 'underage' is it. As long as they are overage there is a massive interpretation range within that phrase. Are we going to lock up all the marriages that have occurred with large age ranges? No....though I'd agree with an uncomfortable feeling on some of them but once the adult age is reached we have to step back from interference (with exceptions on coercion or very low IQ exploitation). It's scientifically proven that the majority of straight males (not all) are most attracted to 20 year old females when given that choice...that doesn't change in relation to the male's age. Now I'd agree that this is slightly creepy but it's also factually true. And it's backed up by looking at the far younger females that the rich and famous single males are seen out with. Age and consent are paramount in these matters and while I realise that for-knowledge is hard to prove....it is still important that authorities look after the underage and trafficked in regards to sexual exploitations......something they rarely seem interested in doing within the entertainment and indeed other industries. I'd say that linking Alex Acosta being appointed to Epstein as a motivation is a stretch, but again if there is some actual evidence that they are related I'm not against hearing it. As I say, I will take all this objectively. I would cheer if anyone travelling to that island to have sex with underage or trafficked girls being exposed and punished for it.

Do you withhold judgement on Clinton too then? Your right, biologically most men probably are attracted to 20 year olds, but if were to believe the testimony from the girl on day one of the trial she was 14 when Epstein took her to meet Trump at Mar-a-lago. The 'young' girls comment was made in 2002 after that occasion, in the context I think I know what that means... I'm not saying Acosta's appointment is a direct thank you for the work he did for Epstein in 2006, but there are a lot of other people who didn't aid in a prolific child molester escaping justice that Trump could have appointed to the role.

Before I would send someone to jail you are damn right I withhold judgement....Clinton or anyone else. Suspicions and whispers are one thing we always need the beef. In relation to both of your suspicions I think it's one way of looking at it and if it were true that Trump or anyone else has been banging underage girls then I have no issues with action being taken because that's a whole different arena away from politics.

But no one in officialdom seems to want to flesh any of that out...again, for reasons we are well aware of...so it has to exist as our presumed take rather than what we can prove. You and I and any decent person would expect this to be under investigation long ago, long before this case and regardless of how powerful those people are. The fact that this was years ago and none of that has happened speaks to our significant lack of faith in those tasked with running oversight being worthy of their office......but we have known that for decades.
