surely Olise and/or Eze have to be in the frame for a start next match and thereafter. We seem to have lost out attacking threat and the sustained pressure we were able to build a few matches back. Is McArthur really the key to all that? Our dip in form has coincided with him being absent.

This was better than expected, but a loss is a loss and right now we are facing a dog fight at the bottom, not a push for Europe as some poor souls on here were predicting. Reality has now set in whilst the football may be pleasing for some to watch, we still can't score, we persist with waste of space players like Benteke and as a consequence we are there for the taking and the relegation threat is here once again, Just hope all Roys hard is not going to be undone by a desire to play a type of football which some of our players are not able to do!

Anyone else wonder why Riedewald never gets any minutes. He is very adaptable can play in defence and midfield (he would do a great job as a DM/AM.

Hard luck boys. Keep your chins up and go again next week. Let’s hope that Rafa’s still there and we’re not playing against new manager syndrome again.

The only thing I wonder about Riedewald is how in the name of god has he managed to become a professional football player. He is awful

The only good thing about Gallagher playing poorly last week and worse today is the press have stopped proclaiming him as the best thing since sliced bread.

How was there only 5 minutes of injury time? Maguire was down for at least 3 minutes alone!

I thought we defended well but Wilf was poor, Ayew once again did all his best work in unthreatening areas, kouyate was beyond useless and Schlupp fairly absent. An improved performance on the last two but our early season swagger has vanished.

So many moments in our games that have cost us this season.

If Benteke and Ayew could have finished relatively simple opportunities this week would have been completely different.

But such is life as a Palace supporter, we miss sitters and are made to pay.

The summer transfers were about saving money and balancing the books not spending it.

No.

Cos he’s another waste of space

Becky I don’t often post as I can’t compete with all the experts on here. I usually whizz through the thread after the game to see who’s the fool of the week. It’s a very close contest most weeks.
