with the history of games between both clubs and not playing them for some time I think this game could be played behind closed doors .

I was at the Den the last time we played them in the 3rd round in '85. I still carry the scars (mental not physical). Would be nice to get revenge after 37 years

Superb draw. One to look forward to. We’ll be the favourites but it won’t be an easy game for sure. Hope that PV puts out a strong side to smash them, but expect he’ll rest a few. Like every season, hope we go for a cup run over mid table boredom. Would expect this one to be televised.

I read that we also drew them in the test draw before the live one. I also replied to the Palace twitter saying Millwall was the dream draw beforehand - it was meant to be! Properly up for this one though. I know we have a rivalry with Br*ghton, but this is our proper local derby, and one we haven't had for years. Whilst they won't admit it, I bet they're well up for this too. They don't have a proper rival/derby at the moment in the Championship either. We best be putting out a full strength team, with Butland in goal being the only change.
