I don't like LH but the way Verstappen has behaved of late is unbecoming of someone with his talent.
To that end I hope that LH wins this championship now.

How will Verstappen or his teammate Perez knock Hamilton off the track? They'll have to do a Schumacher. Hopefully, no one gets hurt.

Doubt he’ll get away with it these days, not that blatant anyway.

If there's any kind of incident - and it's almost certain there will be - and if this results in either retiring fingers will be pointed, and most likely at verstappen. He needs to be careful, will the stewards have a biased opinion because of this?

Hamilton will not want to have any kind of contact as he needs to Finish the race in the points, whereas Verstappen can afford for them both to crash out.

It'll be an Intriguing race. Hamiltons the most successful driver ever around Abu dhabi, but Verstappen won last year...

I admire Verstappens never say die stubborness to let hamilton Pass, but he takes it too far to the point of being reckless.
Here's hoping for a clean race.

One consolation, CH4 will be showing the race 'live' on Sunday . . .

Am just wondering when the crash will happen,...and who will get the blame.
Strange perspective to have for a 'race'.

You would think that the FIA would publicly warn both drivers and make it clear if either impedes the other they will lose the race and championship.?

The worst outcome is if somebody gets away with it and wins the race by default I would imagine that supporters would be outraged.

They basically have done, in so much of reminding the drivers of the ethics of racing, and that not following the rules can result in points deductions.

Essentially telling Max that if you cause a crash that wipes Lewis out you aint winning the championship.

What will be really interesting is the 2nd drivers. If you were the team principles you'd be telling Bottas and Perez to race aggressively against Max and Lewis. If you clip them you clip them

I recall the Senna and Prost era at McLaren, where Ron let them race; no team orders. Probably a mistake, but those two weren't going to obey team orders anyway.
Senna took Mansell out in the final race of 1992, just to stop him having the record for most wins in a season,... allegedly.
Schumacher,..did he or didn't he take Hill out in 1995 ? It is possible to contrive a racing accident, even in extreme circumstances.
But the FIA did haul M Schumacher up in 1997 for ramming Villeneuve in the final race/title decider. It was from this point that the FIA decided they could no longer issue retrospective penalties for the following races, as this was not sufficient deterrent when the Championship was at stake.
Mr Robbo raises an interesting point about assistance from team mates, but racing drivers are essentially selfish in nature and I doubt they would instigate anything, other than by limited obstructive tactics on the track or by pit stops.

What is really interesting is that if MV hadn’t been ‘given’ a win in Spa, following a 2 lap race, and had the race simply have been removed from the record - as it should quite clearly have been in my opinion - then they would be bang on, neck and neck - 8 wins apiece.

Fabulous season, 2 great but vastly different drivers. Not sure either driver is particularly likeable but suspect that goes with the territory. Would prefer LH to win as there is so much more I dislike about RedBull - from MV tactics to Horners crying, bitching and disrespect but if it was, say, one of the Ferrari or McLaren drivers I’d be absolutely rooting for them - as a new era is coming in and the refresh is needed.

Having said that 8 world titles would be a magnificent achievement.

Well done Channel 4 for showing it live.

I hope the race comes down to a supreme over-taking manoeuvre to validate driver supremacy,...rather than.

Tactical pit stop bore-fest
Bumper cars
A retirement
