Awesome thread Kingdowie, thank you so much.

My mums side of the family lived in Sundridge Road, Addiscombe. Those Lower Addiscombe Rd & Bingham Road photos are really nostalgic, along with the central Croydon ones too.

Having moved to Croydon as a teenager I was regularly out in Cinatra’s, Watertown, The Cartoon, Scamps?, Cinderella’s, Scarletts (Royal Oak Centre?) and later on The Blue Orchid & Joe Banana’s.
Anyone remember what The Colosseum night club was called before it was The Colosseum? I think it was just down Church Street on the right hand side when heading down from North End. Near an old Argos store or BHS?

All in all Some great memories! D

the forum boozer, whitgift centre pre-covered.

That brings back memories as I worked next door in Rothschild House and used to have a few pints there after work waiting for my brother in law to arrive from London prior to driving to Selhurst Park for an evening game in the early seventies

That Rover is on an E plate so it’s after 1987. I’d say it’s probably 90/91.

No breathalyser in those days and I looked respectable as I was wearing a suit so never got stopped
