Without doubt we have some great youngsters coming through but hopefully they don’t morph into Mr Zaha. He could be an outstanding role model for these youngsters who could say in the future I played with Wilf who helped me so much. Instead I fear he will be remembered as a wasted talent with super bad attitude whio threw his toys out of the pram at every opportunity. Occasionally he shines now, Southampton etc but watching him he comes across as a very angry young man on the pitch and he is wasting a fabulous talent. He’s lost his chance because of this to get a big move so I hope he can reflect at the AFCON on becoming a better role model and laugh in the faces of opponents who wind him up

It has to be beyond frustration,.Right at the moment we are down to the bones with the squad, and points now are vital. Wilf knows that as well as anyone in the club.
Any player in our squad would know it. We all know what he has done at times, but as said he knew in our present predicament , staying on the pitch not just on Sunday , but in our next fixture was probably more ,or as important as anything else. I understand his frustrations he is seriously provoked, but he gets paid exceptionally well to keep playing , in particular at times likes these.

I think he does give his all for the shirt, I don't think his commitment to Palace is in question but he is silly with it at times and as another poster aluded to, he's old enough to know better.

He has ALWAYS been inconsistant. .

I too would thank him very much for his service, IF it was a straight swap for Gallagher. He's what we need right now and we have other players now that could cover Wilf, if they can step up and if wilf should leave.

I think it is very difficult to make any decisions based on playing the worst team in the PL. Having said that Edouard puts in a shift on that left side and looks pretty comfortable doing it too. When you think we have Eze, Olise, and Rak Sakyi who can play out wide as well, then maybe we do not need to rely on Zaha to the extent we have in the past.

I am impressed with Edouard, he is a talented player, maybe not as tricky as Zaha but quick feet and a decent footballing instinct as well.

Sometimes, maybe, but on far, far more occasions, once he gets wound up he loses focus and becomes less effective. \teams know this well and, to gain any advantage, they'll wind him up. Once they do that, leave the rest to Zaha: this is when Wilf Wilts, imo.

Lewndoswski is a fine role model: gets kicked to death but gets, up, carries on and sticks it to them where it matters - a proper pro, in short.

You can have the best ability in the world but if your temperament's wrong....

I find Wilf an embarrassment, at times and it's a real shame. Ability-wise I think he's the best player I've seen in a Palace shirt in all my years as a fan.
