Last time I saw Hartlepool was a cold night in 1991 when we beat them 6-1 in the league cup. Awful first half. and then the flood gates! Ian Wright's replacement was playing against his brother - any guesses?

Their fans are having a right moan on Twitter as we aren't a big enough draw for them!

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Seems insulting but I suppose it can be seen as a compliment. We’re a good footballing side that should comfortably knock them out. Meaning no dream visit of Chelsea or City. Tough.

They're probably the only supporters in the country that will think Thornton Heath's posh

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

I'm still haunted by watching us play at the Victoria ground on a freezing cold evening just to see bl**dy Andy Saville score a penalty against us years ago. Hopefully with it being a Prem team against one of the lowest ranked teams in the competition might be on the telly too.

Without looking it up on the net I think it was a guy called Andy Ritchie who scored the penalty for them... I remember it was Richard Shaw who gave the penalty away... Was a massive giant killing at the time.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Andy Ritchie? Wasn't he the Jimmy Somerville look-a-like who played for Luton?

Very disappointed if we can't beat the Monkey-Hangers.

Apologies to their fans for not being big enough.
