After receiving back a negative covid test result, I'm off for a shoulder operation.

I should be back after a short break...but hopefully not in the shoulder.

Good luck mate

Negative now after the op and you are released I expect it will be positive.

This is very common hospitals infection country in UK is awful.

One of my friends father I was talking to had to go in for surgery he was put in icu with covid patients on each side of him he was negative until he left.

Both patients and himself had been vaccinated with boosters.

Hope you recover soon anyway

Cheers Grumpy....Having two small boys I reckon I've had just about everything going about since it started, including the latest Nelson Mandela variant.

I'll report back on whether I come back with everything but I imagine natural immunity will handle any infectious contact.

I'm much more concerned on them getting my shoulder right.

Cheers....I'll switch off now because I need to pack.

Good luck with the op. No double handed drinking for a while.

It most definitely is an industry.... and as for who's weird....

Again, the industry isn’t lying about being able to process the FOI request. It is the FDA that has to respond. You keep conflating the two.

The FDA has many roles, probably too many. For example medical device approval, as in Badger’s post. Note that was not a complaint about drugs approvals.

Good luck with your shoulder. Presumably an old arm wrestling injury. I’m sure all will go well and you’ll feel the benefit soon enough.

Many hospitals adequately separate covid from non covid patients (though with precautions in the world it's going to spread more at hospitals than elsewhere!).

From what you say, others have decided to turn it into some kind of Squid Game like covid challenge!

Anyway, good health to StirlingSays. It's not much fun waiting around for an op in the middle of this, so it good when it finally foes ahead.

Thanks for those kind words.
