2-2 seems to be our default result, so I’ll go with that

More than happy with a draw, but in general do not like those Friday night affairs (in Premier League).

Without seeing what the team sheets are for both teams, this is a very difficult one to call…

I think it's hard to predict the result.

I'm actually more worried for the Brighton fans. With Zaha absent who are they going to throw abuse at? It must be really worrying for them. All that pent up aggression with no outlet.

Perhaps their heads will explode.

The two teams are fairly even across the season. They are due a win statistically. Moreover I think we’ll miss all 3 Afcon players on Friday. Even Wlif tends to turn up for Brighton. So feeling a tad pessimistic and would therefore take a point now.

I think they will miss Bissouma more than we will miss our 3.

Probably lose this one. They are more advanced as a team than we are .We are in transition so we need one of our flair players to do something special to beat them. It probably won’t happen COYP

1-0 Palace

Mateta to score an early goal that leaves us with about 75 minutes to nervously defend a lead while Brighton rack up possession and shots and we sit camped in our own area. Fingers crossed we're up to the task.

But Roy's no longer the manager!

I expect a loss without Wilf but would take a draw right now!

Depends how PV sets the team up, but his options are limited at the moment. Can't see a repeat of last season's result, and we weren't so great against Millwall, so I predict a loss - karmic wheel turning. That said, you never know - who would have thought Benteke would turn up with a late volleyed winner? Stranger things have happened...
