You are all probably right. Doubt Burnley will match his wages ( whatever they are. Best kept secret at Palace). Plus it all too good at Palace. Loads of french speaking pals and manager. Plus fantastic training facilities.

Not got a link, but bit of gossip ion the Sun(spit), Burnley might turn their attention to Andy Carroll, who has become a free agent after his short term deal expired on Sat with Reading. Personally, he'd be better suited to Burnley than CB, more mobile as well, tho, tbf, most strikers are more mobile than Tekkers.

Not sure why there is any talk for the CF position. We have 3 players who can satisfactorily play in that position until the end of the season. We should be looking at centre half cover and a new full back, possibly two if Ferguson ends up being fragile. In the summer we need to find two midfielders and a centre forward but for now it can wait.

Whilst I don't hate the guy, and know he does add something. For 10/20mil I've drive him there myself. He represents the past and not our future.

I'm not convinced we are '' offering '' Benteke to anyone and I doubt very much that he would want to leave Palace, especially for Burnley.

this would be the best transfer out since we managed to move Hodgson on. What a great position to be in, answering our attacking challenges without having to consider Benteke being in the mix.

Don't really see the point of this personally. The club barely wants to keep Mateta on loan let alone sign him which would leave us with just Edouard in the summer and needing to spend a load of money on a couple of strikers when really that money needs to go on central midfield and a right back. If the solution is Nketiah, he looked dreadful against Forest, hasn't done it in the Premier League, leaves us looking lightweight up top and if it were to happen in January, Arsenal still want too much money. This is all redundant anyway because Benteke is not going to sign a contract with Burnley. a) he doesn't want to live there He isn't going anywhere.
