I’ve seen plenty of inappropriate phrases recently, I’ve been watching old episodes of Love Thy Neighbour on YouTube.

I don't shock easily but I saw a clip where Jack Smehturst meets the new owner of the corner shop who is or pakistani origin. I could not believe the words that came out of his mouth.

It's one of those comedies that is an embarrassment today and what the woke all ways forget to mention is that black neighbour is just as racist to to his white neighbour.

There are plenty of old shows I will stick up for when they are criticised but this isn't one of them. Stick it behind a paywall.

When Leeds were trying to sign Asa Hartford from WBA the deal failed when his medical revealed a previously undiagnosed health problem, said to be a hole in the heart.
David Coleman said - “he might have a hole in his heart but he’s a whole hearted player”.

I found myself watching a couple just to remind myself what all the fuss was about, even for the 1970’s it’s hard to believe they got away with it. And this was prime time tv on after coronation street.

What that 'comedy' was really about was two very childish men who got into all kinds of mishaps and had to be rescued by their sensible wives.

Private Eye used to run a weekly column on his gaffs called Colemanballs. They had plenty of material.

Actually, Badge, the Colemanballs column covered gaffes from any source. The title of the column was therefore an homage to Coleman.

I've always found Head Coach a little rude. Surely it should come naturally?
