Report states that he was caught after running away from the scene, clearly lost a couple of yards of pace as the years have rolled on.

 


Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Why is ‘assault by beating’ a lesser offence than GBH etc?

The former means it's likely that no injury was caused. GBH would mean serious injury. In between the two is ABH, which would mean an injury but not a serious one.

That aside, his Barnet should be subject to some sort of criminal charge!

Thank you for explaining this. I’ve always wondered what the difference between GBH and ABH is.
