Although I dislike Man U, it's not their fault. They've suspended Greenwood immediately, not sure what else they can do. Funny how other teams have not suspended players though, and have faced no questioning by the press.

That’s true and Raith signed him after he had been found guilty but there is still a faint chance of some moral objections to funding a damaged brand.

Good for her - we had him on loan once upon a time but I can’t remember more than one or two appearances. Also interesting that he was found guilty civically, if not criminally - given the difficulties around achieving a criminal conviction for these sort of crimes, I wonder if these type of rulings point towards a solution - judgement is made on the balance of probabilities.

Right, and the jump from a bit of bondage to those images and audio is enormous. ‘People like some weird s***’ is not a reasonable explanation for the evidence. Not even close to it. Never mind silly to rule it out, it’s pathetic to pretend it’s ruled in.

Or that the whole thing may be a 'put on' fake injuries, and threats of violence and rape, then some kind of 'stitch up' to make make him like a monster, well I'm sure these things will be looked at, but we should of course weigh it up against what we're seeing and hearing and the arrest and re-arrest. Let's not get overly into some kind of enthusiastic 'guide to kink' here as it's a bit tone deaf considering the gravity of what may have taken place.

He probably is guilty and deserves to be locked up! Just saying there could be a what if? And feel it shouldn't be a trial by media!

I'm not making excuses for what has happened, just agreeing with another poster, that things of 'similar' ilk(ie role play with faux violence ie bdsm, exist). Why should I or any other seek help, I quite enjoyed it at the time, so did all participants. As I alluded to in my post(which you'd do well to read properly), I hope the police conduct a thorough investigation & bring charges based on facts, not supposition.
