Likelihood is that he wants her out so he can have a real left wing pal in there - that way between them they can ruin London even faster than he is doing already!
I dislike Lady Dick but dislike Sad Dick so much that anything he wants has to be resisited!

Next year she’ll have been in the police for 40 years and is already past full pensionable age; it’s not much of a stretch to replace her.

So not bothered about knife crime not bothered about London being ground to a halt by protestors but suddenly he is concerned about the police because of a few nasty videos.

You have to wonder where his priorities lie.

Under Cressida Dick, London’s police have gone from one disaster to the next. The public’s trust, as well as the mayor’s, is at stake.

Clear it up or clear out, preferably the latter.

I think most will agree with that.

Khan had to call her out, she was oblivious to the problems to the extent of simply wishing they would go away.

I think she has resigned (BBC).

I would say good but I am concerned who will be her replacement? Another person from the alphabet soup? Or somebody who looks good in front of the cameras but does bugger all.

I will make one prediction it wont be an old fashion copper who wants to nick villains.

Scary that not even woke Dick wasn't woke enough for Khan Can't.

Here's what Andrew Lawrence thinks about it all.

Whoever is next, it can't be anyone taller than Knunt. I think he has a bad case of small-man syndrome. Errr, smaller than the national average-person syndrome.

Why he had to get involved in Cressida Dick is slightly bewildering, because he's given her a "get out of jail free" card, allowing her to choose the timing of her departure. She avoids any pending fall-out from BJ and her other failings, and shuffles off with (what's left of) her reputation, her Damehood, and a massive police pension.

Knunt tried to play hard-ball, but he's actually let her off the hook for any accountability. It shows Khunts political frailties.

The role of Met Chief needs to be split as it is causing problems between the Home Office and the Mayor as the role serves 2 masters.

It's not just Genghis Khan, Boris fell out with the Home Secretary when he was Mayor and sacked the head of the Met without asking the government.

There is a national aspect to Head Of The Met which encompasses anti terrorism, working with the security services, national major crimes etc. That role should be a senior police officer reporting directly to the Home Secretary.

Then there is the local policing role e.g. knife crime that role should report to the Mayor and he should be allowed to hire and fire as he seeks fit.

Met police federation 'has no faith in Sadiq Khan'.

Really how many Londoners have faith in them.

It comes to something when a woman cannot trust that a policeman is safe.
