Surely not! It’s a good profit but if we are serious about progressing can’t be a consideration, unless PV doesn’t see him fitting into the side or injury really has taken its toll.

He will not sit on the bench forever, and it would be a massive mistake to sell him

Now I have thought about this over a cuppa, it may not be a bad thing. If we can reinvest in 2-3 players, it would be good business. Look how AWB money has helped the club. Remember Olise only cost us £9m.
I am a big fan of Eze and would love him to stay but unfortunately, big money talks.

I said this will happen. Newcastle are going to go round hoovering up all the talent. Olise will be next.
All I can say is tell them we want £60m.
It’s terrible. Really bad for football.
Newcastle will be in Champions league in 2 years.

On HOL, I have considered the possibility of the former.

He looks pretty down when you see him on the bench. Basically players have 10 years at the top and they want to play. Eze has had a long time out. He needs to be on the pitch now.
From his point of view guaranteed first team football. Silly money. Tempting. Him and St Maximin will be dynamite
Very bad news for us and football
Eze needs to do what’s right for him.
£65m min.

The Saudi money is gonna cause a lot of friction. You are bang on Lanzo. Massive mistake. But Eze needs to play for football sake.

You are correct. As I said at the time of the takeover, mega Saudi tv deal incoming! Money before morals for our beloved PL

Whilst we have Ayew,Schlupp,Matete and Benteke wreaking havoc.

A transfer fee has been suggested on HOL, but let us not forget there was a 20% sell-on clause to QPR as part of the deal.

I really hope we don't sell him as I want to watch great players at Palace and I think he can be one. As Villa have shown, you can get £100m but it means diddly squat if you can't find the players to replace your man.

Of course, a lot will depend on Palace's finances as to whether deals like this would even be considered, but I'm pretty certain whatever happens Parish is no mug and will get the best possible deal. He was also one of the most vocal opponents to the Newcastle deal so if he does do a deal with the devil you can only image they'll have to offer way above market value. If he got £50m for a promising right-back I reckon he'd want at least £60m for Eze. Personally I wouldn't want him to go to Newcastle for any money though.

The strange thing about all this though is that there was mention Newcastle tried to loan him in January. Surely they must have been having a laugh if that was true?

I am really torn on this one.

If he played as a number 10 instead of out wide, he could be so influential.

However, if we were to sell him at 50m plus, then that is Gallaghers transfer fee paid for right there. Not that they need the money, but that Gallagher fee would help Chelsea pay for Declan Rice.
