As someone said, money talks. But with the Arabian Newcastle purse - no less than 75 million (that means 60 mills after QPR got their share).

Don't fret lads. No way will PV let Eze go, he's a key player in his squad, and as Willo says, we have to give QPR a fair chunk of any fee we receive.

You watch, he'll start on Saturday and score the winner against Chelsea.

Yes , Thats the spirit . There will be plenty of room for him in the starting line up when Zaha leaves and Gallagher goes back to his club or gets sold to Spewcastle for 100 million .

If the price is right he will go. Southampton have been selling their best players for years. On the positive side the Directors and of Brazilian club Botofogo will spend a week at Palace which means we may have a future pipeline for Brazilian talent. I live in Brazil and to be honest there are several players of Ezes calibre around.

Olise would be the natural replacement for Eze if we were to sell.

Eze has been touted as a future England International by many and we should tell the toon to take their feeble off to where the sun don't shine and hold onto him at all cost.

With probably Zaha and definitely Gallagher gone by next season's start selling Eze would seem short sighted.

Really? Why/
The poster's observations may be true. For example:
- Eze showed last season that he was far more effective playing centrally than out on the left and yet PV has persisted in using him out on the left with Schlupp in midfield in Kouyate's and McArthur's absences.
- Eze didn't defend well last season and his pressing in the few outings he's had this season has been virtually non-existent.
- Eze has yet to recapture his form of the second half of last season. Yes, there have been occasional glimpses but he is still some way short.

Having said that, I wouldn't take £45m for him. I would want significantly more specially with QPR due 20% of the profit we make. Mind you, if Eze doesn't make more progress before the end of the season, Newcastle may drop their interest.

I have to say, though, that if we were able to prise Gallagher away from Chelsea, I wouldn't be averse to selling Eze to provide the money to do so.

What makes you think Zaha will PROBABLY go this summer? I tend to think he'll see his contract out and then go on a 'free' with a nice juicy sign-on fee. However, if PV starts benching him, that might change things.

I am really torn on this one.

If he played as a number 10 instead of out wide, he could be so influential.

However, if we were to sell him at 50m plus, then that is Gallaghers transfer fee paid for right there. Not that they need the money, but that Gallagher fee would help Chelsea pay for Declan Rice.

Nice idea. But if Gallagher was available and I was Newcastle, I'd buy him and not Eze.

Rude!

Oh, by the way; it's YOUR RIGHT, not YOU'RE RIGHT. If you are trying to demonstrate intellectual superiority over someone else, it's a good idea to avoid making a schoolboy error.

The idea of selling Eze to fund the purchase of Gallagher is a non starter if available Newcastle are likely to buy him as well as Eze.
