Does anyone know how much Blitzer and Harris paid for their shares, and have they put in any additional funds in to the club, Texter's movements seem to be quite transparent, Blitzer and Harris`s doesn't seem to be so

There was a recent piece in The Athletic (Woosnam and Fifleld) that said they had been "investing quietly and helping provide stability and sustainability, not least during the pandemic". Not sure of course what that amounts to.

According to the last set of accounts the shareholders have loaned a little over £49m to the company and it is highly probable that the monies have been injected in proportion to their shareholdings although AN Idiot esq would probably disagree as is his wont.

We don't know how much they paid for their shares as the purchase of shares in a private company is a matter between the individuals involved

The latest accounts only run up July 2020 no? Or are there more recent figures available? I'm guessing that there'll have been more investment in the meantime - 2020/21 can hardly have been a stellar year financially and I'd assume greater investment in the meantime.

Today's Telegraph has a detailed piece about the workings at Palace, with the 4 major shareholders, Parish, Blitzer,Harris and Textor having equal voting rights, but day to day management of the club being left to Parish.
The article suggests that Textor has a 40% share of the club, that Blitzer and Harris hold 38% between them, Parish holds 11% (I thought he held 18%) with rest being made up of smaller shareholders.
The article suggests that the model works well currently with a trust in how Parish manages the club.
However, if Blitzer and Harris dispose of their 38% to proceed with the Chelsea offer then this could lead to uncertainty in the event that the new investors want more say in the day to day running of the club.
As always the devil would be in the detail.
Textor role could be key too as the largest shareholder and it could be that he would seek to add to his holding.
I've been through the days of Bloye, Noades, Goldberg and Jordan so not much surprises with Palace.

Perhaps Palace should be looking now at a replacement for Harris and Blitzer so a smooth transition is carried out. It’s not a forgone conclusion that they will get Chelsea, but you can see this getting complicated which is something we could well do without.

I think Abramovich,s arrival kinda signalled the beginning of the end for ordinary people to have the possibility to buy into their local club (if that club was in the PL) the sheer amount of money involved in modern times is just mind blowing for most of us to even think about.

Just as a question - does anyone know what it would cost to buy
just 1 share in CPFC (if it was possible to roll up at CPFC offices & put your money on the table)

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that us fans could buy the shares?

Six shillings and fourpence

Textor will buy them out and hopefully leave Parish in charge

H&B own 36%.
Chelsea is apparently going to sell for £3B +.
For a fast sale they could go at say £50m.
However,I rather fancy Midlands call that H&B won’t get Chelsea anyway.

I am not so sure, I believe they are in the consortium involving Martin Broughton and Seb Coe, if correct and the Government decide, the old school tie network may come into operation!

4 fans did buy the club and saved us from disappearing, its been well documented.

Then they won’t be allowed to buy Chelsea!

This is Harris and Blitzer’s problem not Palace’s. It’s not up to Palace to find buyers for Harris and Blitzer’s shares.

Ultimately they will need to set a price such that someone will buy. Palace are a good investment at the moment though with a strong academy and a successful team on and off the pitch from Steve Paris down. It’s likely there will be at least one buyer - D&B will have lined them up and will have consulted both Textor and Parish before mounting their bid for Chelsea as both will have a say in who buys them.

The worry for Palace is that the purchasers need to be able to invest further in order to continue the excellent progress and fulfil the club’s plans. And they need to be happy leave Parish in overall control.

Is being a sceptic worse than going septic?
