I caught the inauguration of Poroshenko, the previous Ukraine president, in 2015, on RT.

This was the time of the Minsk agreements, there is no evidence that Russia would not keep to their side but the Ukrainians never kept their side of the bargain, dragging it out for years.

With the USAs promise of aid and arms NATO membership why should they keep their word?

The Ukrainian army has been transformed by this and their increased arms would probably have been used in their suppression of the Russian-speaking Donbass region.

The USA delegation at the inauguration was led by Joe Biden.

That might have relevance with regards to ancestry or appearance, but that’s it. They’re about as Irish as Clinton Morrison or Andy Townsend. How many of them are Irish only and no other British aisles or European blood.

Lots of them actually, they went there in the famine, and my point was his banging on about having Irish roots got him elected, you said nobody cares, he was playing to 45 million voters in America, they cared,i doubt he was bothered about one brit in caterham.!

If you go back 170 years most people would have some Irish connection - O’Bama’s ancestors included a line back to Offaly.

Certainly in America Teddy, they headed that way back in the day, hence 45 million Irish Americans, biggest european population there? No. Italians? No, Spanish? no. Its Germans, 60 million of them, who knew?

Since Trump has German ancestry it may be some time until anyone is able to capitalise on their vote.

Not me CP. What happens 3,500 miles away causes me no grief whatsoever and even if it did I couldn’t do anything about it.

What a ludicrous load of nonsense you post on here. Why don't you go and live in the Russia that you admire so much.

Extraordinary to opine that Biden is ok because he isn't Trump

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
