Gallagher was off colour today .. maybe not being able to play at Wembley on his mind. Worrying thing is when he's not playing or playing well our whole intensity level drops. Something we have to figure out before next season.

Our first poor performance for a while and it wasn't that bad. I thought Anderson and Guehi were poor today though, but losing Mitchell didn't help our shape. I thought Leicester were the better team for the first hour and deserved their lead. We were better once McArthur and Eze came on but we were too slow at the back and made it too easy for Leicester. Eze making a strong claim to start against Chelsea, but other than that not much to shout home about.

How old are you? I would expect that kind of 'told you so' gloating from a hormonal teenager, but for a supposed learned senior and at the raw time of just seeing your team beaten is irritating to say the least.

Credit to Leicester who did well to frustrate us. Couldn't take some fairly clear cut chances in the first half and were punished for it. Classic Palace!!

My message was not one of "Told you so". I was replying to a post whereby I was accused of 'Hindsight' and my humble riposte was to assert that I actually thought that with the semi-final next week, I did not expect a positive result and posted such sentiments on HOL. In terms of my age, I shall be 70 this year.
