By Swedes I meant the decision makers rather than the general population.

Anyone who thinks burning a book, or having the intent to do so, is a reason to expect riots directed at the police is on another level of thinking.

The Sligo murders were possibly acts caused by Islamic thinking. The reason will emerge in time.

Bear in mind the 2016 Orlando night club massacre was carried out by a twice married muslim father and initially the thinking was it was motivated by Islam and it emerged later he was a user of gay dating apps to find sex and was probably more mentally ill than anything else. He did shout ISIS slogans so who knows. This was the incident that led to the stupid Owen Jones hissy fit on Sky news.

He was born in the US which demonstrates to a degree the lack of second generation adopting the culture and values of the adopted country.

The high level view is that having large numbers of Muslims in previously generally Christian countries who bring a different set of values does not work.

I would be interested to see an example where it has.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

ah yes. The stock-answer whenever Islamic terrorism rears its ugly head. ''He was suffering mental illness''. The excuse is wearing a bit thin these days.

I am not using mental illness as any excuse or rationale for attack, but he as a married Muslim who had turned to gay sex and was apparently radicalised he we was not exactly in a normal run of the mill mindset.

I agree with you mental illness is a something used to explain totally unacceptable often violent behaviour.

The Norwegians were very keen for Breivik to be declared insane as they could not see any other explanation.

I'm not sure how it is in Scandinavia, but you can be detained indefinitely if you are declared insane here.

there seems to be a heck of a lot of violent insane fellas from similar backgrounds ?

what proportion of these had zero diagnosis nor meds....prior to their murderous spree ? 90% of the attackers ? or more than this ?

I don't believe for a minute that all these murderers are insane, but it is a good mechanism to detain people permanently.

The Germans always had a fondness for Paraguay especially after 1945.
