covid death rates? Talk about clutching at straws.

Most Brits seem to think that most of the tory disasters will not affect them, the extra £500 is a bung they can live with, if some poor unfortunates have to use a food bank why should they worry.

The years of easy living on the back of borrowing against assets unrelated to productivity thrift or enterprise, but highly dubious property values, may be ending.

Isn't it all just a house of cards?

As usual, all talk and nothing to back it up.

Please don't harp on about food banks. How many people using them smoke and drink and have big tellys?

It's all relative comrade.

What, you mean like steering us out of the EU and achieving one of the lowest Covid death rates in Europe?

Other than:

France
Spain
Portugal
Estonia
Sweden
Austria
Luxembourg
Germany
Liechtenstein
Ireland
Cyprus
Netherlands
Malta
Denmark
Finland
Norway

Yup, pretty good going being better than all the rest.

You will note that the worst statistics are largely in countries that had a significant issue with vaccine refusal.

I don't think I will. Check the latest WHO findings.

This links says we are in the middle of the death rates, so your original comment was incorrect.

This for a country that it is claimed was quickest off the blocks with the vaccines and that produced vaccines itself plus helping other countries in their vaccine production

Pretty miserable performance I would say but then I don't wear blue coloured spectacles

Note also that COVID deaths should be linked to demographics

Germany has an older population than the UK for example

Clearly, national voting will be increasingly determined by demographics.

You don't really have to be Nostradamus to predict that.

Unsurprisingly, Labour did a bit better in London and very poorly for a mid term in the rest of England.

London is now another planet.

It has been clear for many years that you live on a different planet.

Incorrect.

Try looking at the latest WHO figures.

Repeating a lie does not make it true . It just means that some dummies might believe it.

Only a dummy would compare countries like Cyprus or Luxenbourg to Britain. Even France is far less densely populated, as I'm sure you know.

But I'm not wrong. You on the other hand only speak in falsehoods.

We did better than most of the other big countries.

Accept that and you will sleep better.

Fortunately, other planets already have push-back policies in operation.

I did look at the WHO information. That is on excess deaths. A similar pattern. Britain has performed relatively poorly. Only a dummy would ignore the link he posted himself

The head of a Conservative HQ unit devoted to defeating the Liberal Democrats has lost his battle for a seat on Somerset Council – to a Liberal Democrat.

Never mind there is a bright future for him at Patel's home office Rwanda policy unit.
