Anyone witness this? Apparently an old chap was knocked to the floor and has spent the night in hospital, awaiting a consultation from a plastic surgeon, as he has potentially lost the top of his ear. What type of knobs are we attracting now?

Very depressing to read the BBS thread. Makes me almost glad I can't get to Selhurst any more, instead relying on sanitised TV coverage.

Hope the thugs involved can be identified and banned.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Don't sit in the Arthur but noticed there's an increasing element at the away games who've no interest in watching the game.

Right in front of me. The older hood guy got the younger one round the neck and tried to bash him, who got away.
Then hoody guy chased him with his mates and a couple of other younger fans hit back a bit with the first younger boy.
The steward closest to it just turned around as it escalated around the old guy. Then saw 3 st John's around the old boy patching up his head Then wheeling him away.
All the while the hood guy kept coming back as he knew they had hurt this old guy and either were concerned or worried for themselves. No police turned up at all!!!!
I heard it was between the new HF and a some of the older ones not in the click any more.
Beer and attitude I guess.

I think anybody with appropriate expertise and qualifications would diagnose it as 'muginess'.

If any of them fancy a proper punch up I'd happily offer my services away from the Palace of course and we'll se how keen some of them are.

They wanna act like that go down Millwall. F**king pathetic and not a representation of my club.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

No, didn’t see that. We had some annoying fella with an annoying voice that couldn’t stop talking all game. Not a regular in AW but heard him saying he irritates others from where he usually sits. Reminded me of the train spotting film scene but with a s***e south london accent.

Knobs - they started chanting Hodgsons sending you down but it didn’t take off - bell ends , have some respect for Roy.

I hear it's getting bad at away games. Grim.

I'm hoping it's an after lockdown thing. A lot of people stir crazy but will presumably calm down. From what I see, they mostly fight each other, rather than just the average fan. All the recent fights I've seen have been limited scuffles between our own fans.

Ive got a neighbour like that - every time he opens his mouth it drives me nuts, calls everyone his brother & stands on his front patio talking to anyone who happens past, I am not kidding you I know others in our street who look to see of he is out there before going out to the shops etc or walk the other way just to avoid the rubbish patter that comes out of his mouth.

How common/frequent would you say it's become?

I hope the club has CCTV footage if not why not. These people need to be banned for life we are not Millwall.
