Fair result. It required their operner to remind us to score and althohgh we were the better team they were more determined. In the dying minutes we were lucky not to throw away the point.

Sorry, but you're clueless. Never in a million years was that a fair result.

Comes across as a very harsh and unnecessary overreaction.

We were the better team and ref a disgrace, astonishingly so actually but ‘chill Winston’. I’ve seen far more controversial and wild posts made on here lol.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Evenly matched my arse, we were the only team playing the football, Mings should've been red carded within the first ten mins for a disgusting foul and the ref just encouraged them to continue playing the same way, we should've scored at least four if we'd taken our opportunities but like Zaha all game all we seem to want to do is some Irish dancing every time we had them stretched and panicking, we were ridiculous wasteful today.

Didn't he get the assist for the goal?

The ref must be related to McGinn? I can't see any other explanation.

Villa have gone backwards under Gerrard. All that talent and they play like Burnley.

Think it was Guehi TL.

Happy to be corrected but if so fair play to him, was shocking for their goal.

To top it all Kouyate beats McGinn to the ball, McGinn falls over him. Kouyate gets a yellow!

The treatment of Zaha by the ref ultimately led to them scoring when Zaha reacted to their fans ..waking them and their players up, I feel Zaha should've been removed for his and our sake.

Correct, we were miles better than them, should have won, but Two wins and we finish 9th above Wolves and Brighton (wolves last game away to Liverpool), win and a draw we finish 10th above Brighton, luvly jubly.

I thought Anderson had a good game. Some of his passing was exceptional and one 50 yard diagonal,to Mitchell I think, was fantastic. He even put in a good cross with his left foot. I used to think that Sakho had a good range of passing for a centre back but I was always nervous whenever he was on the ball. Anderson sometimes looks like a quarterback and is a real asset in moving the ball around and forward.

We were the better side but as has often been the case this season we were pretty toothless in the final 3rd. So glad we got the equaliser no way did we deserve to lose that game.

How on earth did McGinn get away without even getting a yellow?? Villa committed 11 fouls and I'm pretty sure McGinn was responsible for 5 of them, including a naughty one on Clyne.

And I'm sorry but I still do not get how their goal was allowed to stand... Just holding onto a shirt I get but he was holding on and clearly pulling Guehi in the opposite direction of where he wanted to go and for a good 3 seconds or so... I just don't understand VAR at times!

Looks like the BBC didn't bother watching the match either as they gave Ollie Watkins MOM??!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Totally agree. McGinn had to have a yellow, Mings challenge on Gallagher could/should have been a red, foul on Guehi. Still Watkins thought they deserved 3 points as they were the better team
