You will find many Muslims and Christians will see homosexuality etc. as wrong according to their holy writings. It doesn't follow that they hate people who practice it.

Fortunately, PV himself comes from a Senegalese background and will be well placed to understand Kouyate's moral dilemma and I suspect will take a far more tolerant attitude that you.

Big deal over nothing. Freedom of speech or expressions exists. Or at least it should. If Kouyate wants to support a team mate who's under fire, he should have the right to do so. Everyone has a different set of belief systems.

So no muslim players should be in the PL, or anywhere? Especially Senegalese.

The outrage bandwagon still has a few seats left.

Kouyate played in the games where players were required to wear rainbow laces in Nov/Dec.

Now of course Stonewall has been shown to be unacceptable due to it's trans debate stance.

Patrick Vieira is Senegalese (born in Senegal and raised there until the age of 8, got French citizenship cos his dad was in the army). You saying his opinion doesn't count?

Word.

I think you'll find most do Doombear. Take a look at BBC Sport's Facebook post on the Blackpool lad.
When your kid gets bullied and beaten by homophobes come and talk to me again about tolerant f***ing attitudes

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong

WTF are you talking about?

Who said PV's opinion doesn't count?

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

You do know that Homosexuality is illegal in Senegal.

Yes, most of us know that. Strangely, though, those upholders of Senegalese moral virtues like Gueye and Kouyate seem less bothered about it when the chance to earn millions in a country where homosexuality IS legal is on offer. Morality when it suits you, eh? Such is the modern footballer.

SOME do. Not most. There's a small group of extremists in every religion/group/movement.

Liberals wanted mass immigration, then get hissy when millions of people and growing, hate homosexuals. It would be funny if it wasn’t so damaging.

If someone handed me a rainbow colour badge to wear in work for pride day in my company next month I would politely decline or just take it and throw it in the bin!

Nothing against the LGBTQYMCA community or whatever they call themselves now! I just wouldn't wear one or participate in the day! So can understand not wearing a shirt and supporting someone who chooses not to!

I also would not clap any of kneeling nonsense at games!

Just so we’re clear, my fun was aimed at this very paradox RH!
