It certainly looks to be legit. Everton fans on the pitch goading super Pat....who then promptly put one of them on their arse lol

"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!"

Yep.

That is again of course the Police's fault, or is it? Is it just scousers being scousers?

I'd love to see them playing victim here and can once again claim 'It's the Police's job to keep us safe when we act like scumbags' regardless of which side of the city it's from.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

That'll likely be a fine and a touchline ban for PV, not that I would have acted any differently if being goaded by a pitch invading scouse bellend.

Lampard chose not to condemn it in his immediate post match interview but then again he's also a bellend.

Usuall a pitch invasion is condemned as a failure of the orderly service (at least in Austria) and leads to a heavy punishment of the home side. No way that PV will be punishe!

Well said

Absolute disgrace. Most of them seemed hell bent on getting photos or video with their middle finger in front of players faces - Zaha being one

The last couple of weeks seem to have made it appear more acceptable to invade the pitch for increasingly trivial reasons. Fine if you’ve won the league, or in your first season in the PL stayed up by the skin of your teeth by scoring a late goal in extra time on the last day. Not when you’re a tinpot club that’s spent hundreds of millions on players and the game hasn’t even ended yet. Would have been beyond delicious if we’d equalised.

Managers and players being pushed, shoved and aggressively abused is absolutely outrageous. These moronic amoebas need to be banned, clubs need to start being more draconian about punishments for ‘entering the field of play’ and stewarding needs to improve. That coupled with hefty fines for the sort of nonsense that we’ve seen the last week - it needs to happen now. Pleasing to see the guy who head butted sharp jailed but that should have been the major red flag.

As said by others I can’t say I would have shown that much restraint in that situation. Bunch of uneducated, vacant, socially useless scrotes. Deport the lot of them.

I may be a tad prejudiced but I reckon a pitch invasion like that should result in a forfeit of the 3 points - for upsetting the rhythm of the visiting team.

Scum supporters , the manager well what he said to Klopp on the pitch before Everton deserved to go down.Yet the team let Patrick down even if the subs choice was crap.

Two things he will not do again
1) kick a scum Everton fan
2) ever player Milo or Benteke as they should be given away for free to Barnet

Players need to own all this game & what followed

Forever Palace Proud

I think Everton should get points deducted. Two pitch invasions and abuse to players and staff!

Self defence by PV in a situation where (as we have seen from recent events) he and the players could have been attacked and injured, caused by the home club's completely inability to control a volatile crowd from invading the pitch.

It certainly doesn't strengthen the case in the argument that crowd behaviour has improved since the 70 / 80s & revisiting safe standing being the beginning of football crowds being treated more respectably (or at least with the starting point being less hostile)

For sure there should be some retribution for the home side - everyone knew that there was a pretty good likely hood of emotions running high so increased police & stewards should have been enforced -

If the game cannot be conducted from start to finish with the players & management of both clubs being safeguarded from supporters then the authorities need to take a long hard look at themselves / the arrangements in place -

Likely outcome against Everton = either nothing or perhaps a fine or one of their pre season friendlies being behind closed doors which no one will notice.
