Or perhaps he could concentrate on serious crime? London up with US and South African cities on violent crime but the police are to continuously investigate parties.

Investigating parties very badly to boot!

Can"t we sack them both- then "just move on"?Have a cabinet clear out- anyone caught backing bungle in the past two years gone- move the good people within the CONservative party up to the front line, and put Angie Raynor,(see what i did there)?, at the helm of the opposition, and get back to normal politics? The CONS leading the country- but with integrity, (well as near as, you screw up-you resign!), or get fired, and a proper working class leader of the oppo to hold you to account, and an independent all party inquiry as to where the £47 thousand million ppe money went and prosecutions following to anybody involved, including changing your business from dog food canning to dog food and ppe overnight, surely even the insurance of said warehouse would need time to renegotiate the risk of miixing all that ppe with health and safety rules in a canning plant?

Didn’t take you long to shift from the middle ground I see !!!

The mayor's spokesperson said Mr Khan was concerned a "lack of clarity" was eroding "trust" in the police.

Whether you like Khan or not this is the right thing to do.

Public confidence in the Met is disappearing off the edge.

I would prefer he devoted such speeches for all the kids who’ve died on his watch tbh. But I expect nothing less from this leech on morality !

Yes, I2m no fan of his, but in the past week he has talked about legalising weed, which most people can agree isn"t a bad thing with the tax revenue and knowing what your"e smoking, and checking if the met are doing their job correctly without government corruption interfering- the mayor has earned his money for once in the past week!

And your still convinced that not one penny of the fabled 47 billion helped anyone at all. Didn’t save lives or protect nhs staff. Didn’t go towards trying to help people in dire straights. Didn’t allow the whole country to get tested both at home and in test centres. Didn’t buy any useful PPE at all. The list is infinite and some would have been ‘lost’. It happens in times as COVID was. But unlike your anti boris agenda there may be more truth in the former than you give credence too.

He didn’t talk about it at all. He sat on the fence about if he is for or against stating he wasn’t in a position to know if it’s correct or not. For once he could actually have got off that fence but chose not to. I reckon I know why but will reserve that !!!

Some of the ppe was useful, not the lot flown in from Turkey instead of using the warehouses full in Birmingham thou- that was a nother bungle blunder, instead of just using the good ppe available in the centre of the country, lets do an raf war footing mission out of brize norton- a churchillian task- bungle taking the plaudits, landing at the airport, loading the planes- the media kept us informed of the recue mission minute by minute! The planes have landed at bn, they are unloading, lorries carrying the ppe along the countrys motorways- bungle has delivered, finally delivered! Only the ppe he ordered was useless, binned! And the birmingham warehouses full of british ppe? The ppe that was actually useful? That was sold to the European Union- after being offered to bungles corrupt gov several times over! You couldn"t make it up!

Which he did in the US, whilst hosting parties....... all on taxpayers money no doubt, which he didn't earn!

If he was at a party, it would be as a guest, and wouldn"t be in the proposed £20 million palace bungle is spending tax payers cash on if it goes through- another vanity project that the likes of us will never see but bungle will no doubt stay in for the rest of his years-whats not to like becky-its not as if there"s a cash crisis over here!

And if it was a vanity project his £1,000,000 PR budget could spin it to his advantage.
