Quick poll, does anyone want Liverpool to win the Champions League this evening? I am firmly in the let’s wipe that smug grin off Klopps face camp, so that’s one to the Spaniards from me.

Yes, I do. On a purely patriotic level I hope they put one over on the Spaniards. In a European match like tonight's, I can only ever be rooting for an English team, whoever it is.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I didn't watch it myself, but didn't the Liverpool supporters boo the National Anthem at the Cup Final a couple of weeks ago? If so, come on Real.

I usually always side with an English team but I have the slightest affinity for RM from my idolising Zidane and do hate those scumbags so I’ll watch quite neutrally.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

That’s also my feeling. Plus I’m in Paris this weekend and it’s full of Liverpool supporters and they have in the areas I’ve been in behaved themselves. Only downside is that a concert I booked for tonight before they switched this match from Russia has been cancelled :-( Also remember those days when most our English teams were full of our nationality players and it was easier to support a British team playing in a final. I can understand why that’s not so easy today.
