Whilst people often want to maintain links with the culture of their predecessors, that doesn't mean they seek to replace the one they have decided to adopt. People like you want to exclude others, and are fearful of them. That's exactly the wrong attitude and is the only way you will actually bring about the result you don't want.

Look at other London areas, Brixton, Southall etc. It's just the tide of history, which takes time to ebb and flow. You don't stop the tide. You learn to move along with it and how to enjoy the ride.

What your grandchildren want for themselves is quite another matter. As is what they will get. Whereas your classmates, and playmates, were probably all "European", aka "white", their's probably won't be, and they are very unlikely to notice and even less likely to care.

Where there is no actual violent conflict, there is a sullen, non-integrating mutual distrust. There is no reason to believe that it will be any different here. Which by the way you once again reveal here, dimwit. And it's of course inevitable over several future generations that there will be more mixing. Unless you think that it's all so horrendous that you can somehow control many generations going forward. Not everyone buys what you're selling, in fact not many do. Whether black or white, anyone craving what you appear to view as an endlessly 'pure' family tree forever more (and deeming that as the priority in life) is detached from reality and set for disappointment.

Only 7% of couples are interracial. Clearly, the vast majority prefer their own.

Some cultures share their women with other cultures. Many don't. Ever heard of honour killings ? nasty things. The writers on here are banging on about racism & prejudice. As if White-british people held the monopoly for that crime. They don't. Try being a Christian in many Muslim countries, or a Westerner in Japan or try being a settled man wishing to marry a Traveller girl. How many Asian girls in Bradford have a white-brit boyfriend/husband ? The kaleidoscope of all integrating into one beautiful Rainbow ? its a pipe-Dream. Even Catholic-Protestant love in Ulster has often been a powder-keg. Muhammad ali said it best....
