If you think the Bale of now is better than the current Zaha you are with greatest respect off your rocker. The man can’t even run for 45 minutes. If it was American Football and you could bring him on for set pieces then great, but otherwise he would be a liability and should be kept away from our team.

What is that based on? In what games has Bale looked unfit or unable to perform at that level?

He played in the Prem 2 seasons ago and averaged more than a goal every 90 minutes across 20+ appearances.

I love Zaha to bits, he's my favourite ever player, but Bale is in a completely different bracket.

You obviously haven't watched us a lot then, tho tbf, if you're not old enough, imho, Lombardo was by far the greatest player ever to don the shirt.

Big rumour here in Spain, is that he'll go to Getafe(the small Madrid team) as he doesn't want to uproot his young family as they are ensconced in Spanish life & education for the kids.

This signing sums up his attitude, he has no interest in playing in any form of real competitive game unless its for Wales at the world cup, not that I blame him, a mid table la liga team with no pressure or unrealistic expectations just to remain match fit suits him.

I couldn't think of a worse signing for a mid table prem team to make.
