Don't tell me that we can't control our coastlines and that we can't just deport people back to where they arrived from. Imagine if we applied your wisdom to other historical problems. Stopping legal migration is neither practical nor wise. It would have to apply both in and out and would result in chaos, as well as misery and unfairness. It will never happen.

I should start by saying that I am an atheist and that those who protest and cause injury and death in the name of some mythical deity is anathema to me. I am also seeking to avoid the whole immigrants - why are they here - debate as that is not the point I am making even if it is what many on here may be thinking. However, you still need to understand why and there is little of that on this thread. Conservative rural pakistan is a step back to the late middle ages in terms of the power and control of religion. Many of those protesting will be 1st or 2nd generation from there with those deep rooted traditions and values. It would be odd to expect them to have assimilated so quickly into our modern and enlightened society. That will take much more time. Remember, it was only a century ago when people were locked up for blasphemy and you could also be prosecuted for obstructing a clergymen in the course of his clerical duties. Add to that is their heightened sensitivity and minority status. Not only do they have those values but they will fight for them too. And so to why. One of the Ten Commandments is pretty clear to the Islam world. No false gods. Hence there is adornment in Muslim culture and much beauty in Mosques; but absolutely no idolatry. This includes any image of Mohammed which is banned as it might provide a distraction to the worship of Allah, the one and only true God. That extends to moving images which are considered blasphemous. Hence the protest. Backwards, yes, wrong, certainly; but you will not change the minds of those protesting as this is absolutely to the core of their existence.

Those obligations are created by men not by evolution or environment or any other kind of uncontrollable force. All it takes to stop this is a consensus among Western countries that a united front to protect their borders is the way forward. Right now, globalists are making the exact opposite happen for they own ends.

At which point the impetus for said immigration will have ceased. Crime, homelessness, grooming-gangs, a failed health service, religious sectarian strife........ you aint seen nothing yet. We are headed toward a new Dark Age. 500 AD in Western Europe...reborn. Best place to live : any small fishing village in Iceland. Worst place : London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid
