Anyone know why his hand/wrist is always strapped up ?

Keeps having to push Benteke away

Guehi and Andersen are so key to the club now so i'm a bit concerned that both are playing games into mid June - i think Andersen played all 4 of Denmark's recent games.

I know Marc has been injured for a few weeks but he's had a long season and is still quite young.

Hopefully both will go off on holiday and do nothing for the next few weeks.

We fly to Australia in mid July, only 4 weeks away, ideally they should only report back for training a few days before this trip.

Begs the question who could play at CB in their absence, especially if Kouyate doesn't re-sign. Tomkins and an.other

Think JA got a week off before the Denmark camp started, and the England squad hadn't even been announced until 2 days after the season finished so imagine MG got some time too. He's also had minimal game time and can't imagine they were training much given 4 games in 14 days plus travel.

The season does start very quickly though - August 5th which is only 2 weeks after the Australia trip so I'd imagine no-one is having complete down time. That's one of the benefits of having Arsenal, City & Liverpool quickly - almost their entire squads have been on international duty.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

This is my main concern.

It was good fortune that Andersen and Guehi had a remarkably injury - free season last term; it's too much (imo) to think we'll be so lucky again. We need cover, without doubt.

Yes Tomkins stepped in for a bit last season but we need to acquire another CB who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. This is the way we play now, the way we've transitioned.

My fear is that if/when the injuries come we'll be caught short.

Seems mental to have that pre season planned when there's a smaller break than usual,

It's all about the money and the brand exposure - not the players' welfare.

Never mind, at least we've got 5 very easy games to kick off with.
